Leah and Rob at the ceremony

Leah + Rob

A Match Made in Philly

A wedding worthy of the city of brotherly love

Having enjoyed cocktails at the luxe Stratus Rooftop Lounge before, Leah and Rob had already landed on the perfect venue for their cocktail hour and after party. “We loved the opportunity to utilize both indoor and outdoor space, which made the flow of the event fun and interesting, while also having the logistical convenience of being in one place. It was truly the best of both worlds!”

After their first meeting with Hotel Monaco Philadelphia’s Wedding Specialist, Desiree, who took them on a tour of the hotel, the couple knew that it would be the perfect place to host every aspect of their special day, from wedding day prep to the ceremony and reception to spending their first night as newlyweds in the Presidential Suite. “On our first tour of the Hotel, we immediately clicked with Desiree. Her enthusiasm was contagious and we loved that we were encouraged to get creative and put our own spin and signature touch on all aspects of our wedding day.”

Memorable Details

The hotel played a major part in the couple’s pre-wedding preparations. Rob and Leah each had their own get-ready suite so they could host their closest friends and family as they prepped and relaxed. Then the couple enjoyed their romantic first look at Stratus Rooftop Lounge. They even held an intimate ketubah signing in the Vapor Lounge at Stratus.

Leah and Rob loved the unique vibe and aesthetic of the hotel. “Nothing about the Hotel Monaco is cookie cutter.”

“The Hotel Monaco team was such a pleasure to work with and by the end of the process they truly felt like family. We couldn’t recommend it more!”

Leah and Rob Reception Dance

The ceremony took place in the Lafayette Ballroom. Sunlight poured into the room, illuminating the bride and groom as they exchanged vows in front a stunning arch made of greenery and flanked by two grand bouquets with a variety of beautiful blooms.

The festivities post-ceremony moved from Stratus Rooftop Lounge for cocktail hour to a reception back in the Lafayette Ballroom that featured romantic table décor like candles and bouquets in sumptuous pre-fall hues, and lots of dancing. This included a jubilant hora that had the couple balancing in chairs lifted up by friends and family. The good times took the revelers late into the night, back at Stratus Rooftop Lounge. Finally, after a long day of celebration to kick off their lifetime together, the newlyweds retired to the Presidential Suite.
